Mandy & Sean
August 26, 2017
If you want to have a small wedding and want some inspiration, girl have I have a gorgeous wedding for you! Deep within the Rocky Mountains at Sapphire Point Overlook, surrounded by the beauty of nature Mandy and Sean said their I dos. This wedding has the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen captured by From the Hip Photo. Mandy and Sean wanted to keep their day intimate, all about their love, and far from traditional so they planned a small wedding with just 12 of their closest family members and friends in the mountains of Colorado. With the excitement of her wedding day, Mandy glowed in a soft and simple A-line dress with lace detailing in the bodice. I love that Mandy finished off her look with a vibrant round bouquet with dripping blue silk ribbons and flower crown that gave her that extra pop to stand out amongst all of the breathtaking scenery. Sean perfectly complimented Mandy’s look in a blue suit with a peach necktie. After these two lovebird said their I dos to signify the evaluation of their relationship, they released butterflies. The butterflies swarmed around the wedding party and gently landed on people’s hands, creating a uniquely sweet wedding memory for everyone around. From the Couple:
How Did You Meet?
We’ve known each other since college but didn’t start dating until we starred working together at a country club. Sean was so nervous to propose that he planned an entire day in NYC including a nice dinner and a walk through the botanical gardens and ended up waiting until we got all the way home. He asked me as soon as we got to the front door of our apartment!
Lets like Style, How Did Pick Your Bridal Attire?
I wanted something soft and simple that I could wear all night long and be comfortable, which I did. Sean designed his own look and pulled it off very well, he looked so handsome!
What Style Of Wedding Did You Have?
We wanted something small and romantic, so when we first saw Sapphire Point we knew it was perfect. We didn’t want something traditional and we had just moved to Colorado last year, so we felt it was the perfect place to begin our new life together.
How Did Your Incorporate Florals Into Your Wedding?
Petal and Bean did an amazing job with our flowers. I wanted the girls to have beautiful bouquets with bright colors that would contrast against the blues of the mountain scenery.
